Hubby is Sweet

Reggie was extremely sweet on Mothers Day, although he is always sweet. I woke up Sunday morning and he gave me a beautiful card wishing me a wonderful 1st Mothers Day. He also gave me a Pregnancy Journal and the book "What to Expect When You're Expecting." I am really excited about the Journal because it allows me to record everything about the baby. The other book offers valuable information that I need to know about being pregnant. It's almost like having a doctor to answer my questions at the tips of my fingers. (Without the copays..lol) Last but not least, I received a new spa bath pillow. He ran me a nice warm bubble bath and placed my pillow inside. It was so relaxing and calming. Loving the pillow! Thanks Babe!
So Tiny!

I am currently 13 weeks and 5 days. The baby has reached the size of a peach which is about three inches long. The baby's intestines, which ahave been growing inside the umbilical cord are now starting to move to thier permanent position is the baby's abdomen. My baby's vocal cords are also developing this week. (Cant wait to hear the crying) lol!

I Get to Celebrate Mothers Day this Year First Hand
Yippeeee! This Sunday is Mothers Day and I plan on celebrating. My mama-in-law and the fam have given me my first Mothers Day card and gift. I will have to record this in the baby's book. I am sure that he/she would want to know this when he gets older. lol!
This morning when I came to work one of my sweet friends "Stefanie" gave me a prenatal heart listener. This equipment will allow Reg and I to hear the baby's heartbeat at home. Yahh! Thanks Stef! Now I can get emotional about the heartbeat all the time.
All is well right now. The pregnancy is going great! I am very thankful to have such a great support system in place.I am so grateful to family and friends for being so caring during this time! Myself,Reg,and the baby appreciate you all.

Fascinating
Well I found it intriguing how the creation of a baby happens. Not in the sense of sex, so everyone reading this get your mind out of the gutter. I mean, sex is fascinating too, but I am talking about something different. I mean looking at the pics from the sonogram and seeing the little peanut sized image makes your mind go crazy when you know that will someday be a full grown human being. It has a heart that beats and looks the size of a pen tip. This child is being woven together in my wife's womb and will be my responsibility to take care of. Listening to all of the things the doctor says and how this little fingernail sized fetus will grow and grow, I guess you can say it is all just, well, FASCINATING...
