Fascinating

Well I found it intriguing how the creation of a baby happens. Not in the sense of sex, so everyone reading this get your mind out of the gutter. I mean, sex is fascinating too, but I am talking about something different. I mean looking at the pics from the sonogram and seeing the little peanut sized image makes your mind go crazy when you know that will someday be a full grown human being. It has a heart that beats and looks the size of a pen tip. This child is being woven together in my wife's womb and will be my responsibility to take care of. Listening to all of the things the doctor says and how this little fingernail sized fetus will grow and grow, I guess you can say it is all just, well, FASCINATING...

Teary Eyed

Today I went to the doctor. I had the opportunity to hear the baby's heartbeat...and I got teary eyed! It was so nice to hear. I have not reached the point where I can feel any movement in my tummy because I am only 11 weeks and six days. However, hearing the heartbeat today just made the baby more real to me. A little person growing in my body! Today was a great experience and I thank God for all that He is doing!

Baby Bump

Regg took a few pics of me last night to reveal my baby bump to our friends and family. I can feel my tummy already stretching out! I will only take this bump for the baby cause he or she is so worth it!
I have been feeling pretty good here lately. Still no signs of morning sickness; however, I have run into a problem. My doctor sugguests that I do not get relaxers for a while so I am trying to figure out what to do with my hair! Help!

This Will Only Happen in My Imagination!

Just thinking how great it would be if mothers were allowed paid time off from their jobs from conception of a child til the child reaches two years old! Hmmm..... I think women everywhere would stay barefoot and pregnant! I know I would :)

Tamara's Weirdness & What our Baby Looks Like!!!!

I have a problem with getting sick when seeing loose hair that has shed from my head. Yes, I know this is weird! And I cannot explain it. Well last night, I saw hair and it made me sick so you know what happened(vomit). Sadly, the same thing happened this morning. While brushing my teeth I spotted hair and got sick again. Uhghh! This is gross! Anyway, Regg and I are concerned because this can't be healthy for the baby! I don't know what to do. I will consult with my doctor.

On a more positive note: I have been browsing the net looking at pics of what our baby possibly looks like. I came across this interesting photo and decided to post! Wow! This is awesome! What a blessing to be carrying a child that we will give back to the Lord!

This ultrasound was taken March 30th. The baby was approx 7 1/2 weeks into development. What a joy to be pregnant! So excited to enter each month and see how the baby will grow. We know that our Lord is so amazing because this baby that is growing is so amazing! Thank you Lord for all that you have provided and all that your are providing. So thankful!
